Bringing in weapons
For non-Scandinavians only
According to Swedish law, all non-Scandinavians must apply for permission to bring weapons to Sweden.
This is something that the organizers of the DOT can’t influence.
With special permission and ”weapons passport” you can bring all CAS-shooting weapons.
You can choose to apply in 2 different ways:
Either through the organizers, or directly to the police.
We and the police highly recommend that you turn to us to apply. That way we have control of all applications, as they will be dealt with here at the local polis station.
If you choose to let the organizers apply for you, fill in the application form, invitation and print it.
Get a copy of your “firearms pass” and a copy of your original license of all the guns you are bringing in to Sweden. Make sure that expire date is visible on the copy.
If you are staying for holyday in Sweden after the match, set the latest day of departure to cover any delays.

How to apply
The application should arrive at the organizer at least six weeksbefore the arrival of the shooting guest.
A service charge of 600 Swedish Crowns for each permit is deducted and is to be paid when the application is made. Please note the fee isto be paid in Swedish Crowns.
