Main Match
We are following the rules in The SASS handbook to 100%.
The competition is going to be run by the ”total time” concept. The competition will contain 12 stages shot during 3 days, that is 4 stages a day. The 4 daily stages will be shot in a row, with no break, and our goal is to make the 4 stages in 4-5 hours. That way the afternoons will be free for other activities.
The need of ammunition is 120 for rifle, 120 for revolver and 60+ for shotgun. Remember to bring extra ammunition for re-shootings or stage faults.
Prices and price ceremony
The 5 first in the Main Match categories will be called to the podium to receive their prices.
The 3 first in the Speed Events will be called to the podium to receive their prices.
Cowgirls and Cowboys are competing separately.
Side Matches
The Side Matches will contain the speed events; shotgun, rifle and long range 100 m lever action, pistol caliber only. At the long range one shoots 10 rounds at a distance of 100 m of the steel target.
The results in the side matches will be parted in Cowgirls and Cowboys, so they compete separately in all events.
The Side Matches will be shot at Thursday to Saturday in the afternoons, when the Main Match shooting is done for the day.
The Side Matches can be shot at one day, or be split up in 3 days. However, every competitor is only given 2 tries at every speed event.
The Side Matches are included in the price so they are already paid for. The ammunition requirement for the speed events is 20 revolver, 20 rifle and 12 shotgun per event.
